Michael R. Torregosa

I am a Catholic Seminarian studying to become a Catholic priest in the Diocese of Austin.

A native of Sugar Land, Texas, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Philosophy before entering seminary at Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving, Texas, for Pre-Theology Studies. After completition of Pre-Theology, I spent a parish year at the University Catholic Center, a campus ministry of the Diocese of Austin at the University of Texas at Austin before arriving at St. Mary’s Seminary in Houston, Texas for the Configuration Stage of Priestly Formation.

One of my favorite hobbies is photography, which I share on this website. Please pray for me and my fellow seminarian brothers as we continue the work to become a priest of Jesus Christ and shepherd God’s flock.

Through the creative art of photography, I seek to capture God’s presence and creation and share it with others in order to captivate and inspire them in their faith.

My hope is that my love of photography can be a means of helping one remember and relive the memories of certain moments and experiences as well as helping others experience the places where I experience reflection and joy in prayer.
